As a Sister of the Sage who attended the Wyoming Women’s Antelope Hunt in 2016, I encourage women looking for new hunting opportunities to attend this event. Below, you’ll find the 2026 Application Timeline.
While the hunt’s success rate is high, this event is about more than tagging an antelope. With nearly 50 attendees, you can imagine how much the weekend brings for everyone. Mentorship is at the top of the list, but also building confidence, learning about stewardship, and, above all, supporting women. Both new and experienced hunters share the grasslands, and mentors can sometimes become mentees.
This event is presented by the Wyoming Women’s Foundation, which makes a significant and measurable impact for women and girls across the state by providing education, economic opportunities, health resources, and leadership training. The funds raised from this hunt support that important work while also transforming lives in the field.

A New Venue, Same Heart
Beginning in October 2026, the Wyoming Women’s Antelope Hunt will move to a new venue: the historic TA Ranch, located south of Buffalo, Wyoming!
Our Outfitters, Landowners, and Guides will remain the same along with our dates and hunt areas.
