Screen Shot 2018-04-18 at 8.24.30 AMAthens, AL – April 30, 2018 – Shoot Like A Girl will be at booth 12358 inside the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, TX for the NRA Annual Meeting May 4th – 6th, 2018. This is their 5th year of bringing Shoot Like A Girl’s, state-of-the-art, semi-trailer mobile range to the NRA Annual Meeting, but the first time it will be inside.

This new location will expand the opportunity for the company to interact with like-minded ladies, passionately advocate for law-abiding citizens, and promote the importance of introducing women to shooting sports. Since the company’s inception, over 17,000 women have shot with Shoot Like A Girl leading to an overall economic impact to the shooting sports industry of more than 73 million dollars.

Shoot Like A Girl offers women in attendance at the NRA Annual meeting the opportunity to participate in a revolutionary introduction process, called the Test Shots™ and Test Flights™. In this process, they shoot a pistol, AR platform rifle, and compound bows in a safe controlled environment in a short amount of time guided by NRA Certified Instructors and archery coaches. The trailer features a military grade firearms simulation system and a live archery range. Shoot Like A Girl also features a gun counter, where all of the participants at NRAAM can review and compare a wide variety of firearms. There are many models on display from the corporate partners including revolvers, semi-automatic pistols, and rifles provide women the ability to explore available options.

You Can Learn with Shoot Like A Girl Mobile Range

A few of you have asked where you or the lady in your life can learn how to shoot. One way is to sign up for a basic firearms course. Another is to look for the Shoot Like a Girl schedule and visit a local Cabela’s. Women 16 and older can partake in the opportunity to learn at the virtual shooting range. Check it out.

 

Shoot Like A Girl Mobile Range Onsite at Cabela’s Kansas City, KS

Shoot-Like-A-Girl-SLG-Womens-shooting-courseAthens, AL – Women ages 16 and older will be afforded the opportunity to shoot inside Shoot Like A Girl’s semi tractor-trailer mobile range at Cabela’s April 7th-8th in Wichita, KS. New and experienced shooters are invited to attend this free event during the hours of 10AM-5PM on Saturday and 11AM-5PM on Sunday.

At the event, women gain experience in handling and shooting handguns, long guns and compound bows using state-of-the-art technology. Inside the mobile range, women are guided through a revolutionary introduction process, called the Test Shots™ and Test Flights™ by Certified National Rifle Association instructors and archery coaches. Onsite, at the Shoot Like A Girl Gun Counter, attendees can also compare a variety of firearms including revolvers, semi-automatic pistols, shotguns, and rifles from their firearms partners.

Shoot Like A is committed to educating others about the importance in firearm safety. Those who visit the range will learn about safe responsible gun ownership, the benefits of firearms, and the positive influence the participation of shooting sports can have on your life.

I’ve spent some time helping a group of women who are empowering others. Shoot Like A Girl has made an immense impact on women, introducing them to shooting. Thier portable shooting ranges can be found at various Cabela’s and outdoors shows around the country through out the year. The virtual range is a great start and gives women a safe introduction to handgun, rifle, and archery shooting. Company Gives Back to a Local Community Event for Lady Shooters

Shoot-Like-A-Girl-SLG-Womens-shooting-courseAthens, AL – March 30th, 2017- Shoot Like A Girl is proud to be partnering with S&S Outdoors, LLC and Lake Norman Delta Waterfowl for their first annual Ladies Day Afield.  S&S Outdoors is a dog training facility, owned and operated by, Shoot Like a Girl Pro Staffer, Sloan Williams and family, that specializes in training hunting retrievers.

The Delta Waterfowl committee wanted a way to reach out to the ladies in their community and offer them a day to learn about shooting sports and introduce them to the different activities related to the sport.  “We are honored to be a part of such and awesome event for women and their introduction to shooting sports ” says Karen Butler, President of Shoot Like A Girl, “We are very excited to share our knowledge of shooting sports and hunting the with ladies of the Lake Norman Community.”

Since the company’s inception, Shoot Like A Girl has seen monumental growth each year and has created new gun and bow owners, new hunters and new outdoor enthusiasts bringing their total of new revenue to the outdoor industry of more than $55 million since 2009.

The report highlighted the following significant statistics for 2016, which are a direct result of ladies shooting in the state-of-the-art mobile range: of the 2,539 clients they saw at their range 90% committed to purchasing a firearm, 56% committed to purchasing a bow, 8% hunted for the first time and 55% are now more active in shooting sports.

The report also highlighted Shoot Like A Girl’s retail training program they provide to Cabela’s as part of a campaign to make them the premier retail destination for female shooting-sport enthusiasts.  Through the training program created and instructed by Shoot Like A Girl, Cabela’s gun counter and archery departments are given female-specific sales education.  Last year the company trained 217 Outfitters in 14 stores and will train all of the stores in the next two years.
