I know many of us have those times when we just don’t have time to get out and dedicate time to hunting season. This year, I was fortunate because a friend drew a tag in our area, and H and I’d drawn tags as well. We made a plan to get away and spend a few days, unplugged and in the high country.
Thank goodness we scheduled those days in the mountains. Although none of us filled our tags, it ended up being the only solid time that we had to get out and hunt during the month of September.
Below you’ll find a video recap as I visit with Gun Talk Media’s Gun Talk’s Kevin “KJ” Jarnagin and share tips for hunting elk in the high country.
