Stay Healthy Get Outside

It’s been about a week since I went to the doctor. Not to worry, I don’t have the virus. I’d been pretty exhausted, have lost a bit of weight, and felt it was time to get a health check.

— You’re not going to believe this, but I’m short on vitamin D! Can you imagine?! Me, the one who loves the outdoors and suggests that everyone gets out and enjoys it is low. It’s true. I’ve been so busy that I haven’t been outside too much, and when I do get out I wear long sleeves and hats, so soaking up vitamin D is a challenge.

Today Scrappy and I are outside sharing smiles and enjoying the sunshine. I’m also hoping that all of you are healthy, that you’ve been building that nest egg in case you’re out of work, and that you have stocked up in your freezers and pantries.

If you’ve been told to stay home, follow the instructions. If you’re learning to work remotely, it’s not that bad. Let me know if you need some tips. Remember to take breaks and get outside. I’ve written about it before and will be heeding my own advice and taking breaks to get outside.

I’ll be praying for your health, happiness and financial well-being in the coming weeks.

Get outside! It feels great!
