HUMMELSTOWN, Penn. – Montana Decoy is pleased to introduce upgraded turkey decoys for this year’s spring hunting season. With a line of highly portable and extremely lifelike decoys, Montana Decoy gives hunters realistic and versatile options with added improvements for 2018.

“We are always looking for ways to improve our decoys for better success in the field,” said Montana Decoy Founder Jerry McPherson. “Sometimes that means making them easier to fold or improving detail and color. But this year we did both.”

The fully three-dimensional MISS PURR-FECT 3D Hen and JAKE PURR-FECT 3D Jake changed the way hunters look at and use turkey decoys. They are the only decoys on the market that allow a hunter to choose the preferred pose, and their versatility and portability put them in a class of their own. For 2018, MISS PURR-FECT will see a tweaking of color for an even more lifelike appearance, while the JAKE PURR-FECT has a new head design to better mimic a real jake.

The FANATIC and FANATIC XL are already favorites among shotgun and bowhunters alike for reaping or fanning gobblers. Upgraded designs allow for easier folding and improved shape retention, giving hunters more success in the field—season after season.

“I’m very excited about our 2018 line of turkey decoys,” said Montana Decoy President C J Davis. “Jerry took our customer feedback, along with his knowledge and experience, to really improve the look and function of our decoys for 2018.”

About Montana Decoy

Created in 1996 by Jerry McPherson, Montana Decoy got its start from an average hunter trying to improve his bowhunting success. Tormented by an uncooperative bull elk, McPherson returned to his truck, thinking about how he could design a packable decoy without any unnecessary bulk and weight. McPherson found inspiration from folding band saw blades. He combined an actual photograph of a cow elk in the wild with a unique and now patented twist-and-fold concept to hold open the decoy. Montana Decoy currently offers turkey, elk, whitetail, mule deer, antelope and predator options along with a Moo Cow confidence decoy. All are easy to use, lightweight and feature ultra-realistic HD photography.
