#DeerWeek is Coming

Have you ever heard of Deer Week? This is a first for me.
When my daughter was little she was fascinated with sharks. She enjoyed watching a show or two each day about these marine creatures. If you listened to my interview on Big Buck Registry, you may know I have an affinity toward pursuing deer.
Guess what?!
Deer Week is coming! For many of us, hunting season is too. Now, when we’re not outdoors pursuing them, we’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a show or two about them each day — for a week!

  1. I was able to harvest my mule deer this last weekend. None of the guys I was with wanted to take him as he was just a fork horn. But I know better. Never pass on the first day what you would take on the last day…
None of the other three guys saw another buck the rest of the weekend!
I’m using one of Hank Shaws recipes for 10 pounds of jerky. Yum!
