Concealed Carry – Learning to Draw and Shoot | Mia’s Motivations

I recently learned to draw and shoot from a concealed carry belly-band holster efficiently. The instructors at Gunsite Academy in Paulden, Ariz., are superb and gave me some tips in drawing from a Can-Can Concealment holster and how to draw and shoot from a handbag.

I, of course, need to practice more and plan to take a full-blown course. In this week’s ‘Mia’s Motivations episode, I recap my experience, plus a tip on how you can become a better handgun shooter. I’m headed to the range, and I hope you’ll spend more practicing too.

Get outside. Explore, learn, hunt, fish, shoot, connect with nature.
