Studies continually show that the number of women purchasing and using guns is increasing at a rapid rate. That’s why I was shocked the Marie Claire publication produced an article that had a completely misleading statement about Women and Guns.
The article does have statistics regarding the topic, but what they don’t represent is how so many women are passionately taking up firearms. Many women want to shoot recreationally and, more importantly, learn to defend themselves. MC does state that women see firearms as a key issue they’d like to hear about from Presidential candidates. Here is a view from my good friend, Venezuelan Olympic shooter, now United States citizen Gabby Franco. You need to have a look because she’s speaking from experience.
