“Hey Pretty Girl” – Checking out Elk #TbT

In anticipation of archery season and hoping for a shot at a big bull.

If you just step outside, you will see some amazing things. While turkey hunting this past spring, I was spotted by these “Pretty Girls”. These elk came through the clearing and stopped to “take a look my way.” I did not bag a turkey, but these elk sure made my day.
I found the Kip Moore song “Hey Pretty Girl” to be so fitting for the scene.

“Hey Pretty Girl” (Kip Moore)

Hey pretty girl, won’t you look my way
Love’s in the air tonight
You can bet you make this ol’ boy’s day
Hey pretty girl, won’t you look my way….

  1. saw 3 young bucks last night and said take it easy young men, stay out of sight. They went into a high brush area. Said good for you.

  2. Great song. Not enough time is spent absorbing nature. Mia, you set a great example by getting your family out from in front of the television and watching the marvels around us. Hope you have a great 4th!

  3. Thank you Tom! I hope my family and I inspire more people to simply open their eyes, pay attention and look around.
