The Road to YHEC International – We made it

Lea and Mia at Lake Erie

It was a long journey, but we (along with more than 300 other competitors) made it to Mansfield, Pennsylvania for this year’s International YHEC competition.

We made the near 2,000 mile trip into a multi-day (4) one so the LG wouldn’t be too tired by the time we got here. Note, it was a bearable drive, but we are all still a bit tired.

We said “good-bye” to the mountains and saw lots’ of corn fields, a minute amount of livestock, one of the great lakes and then some gorgeous historic homes in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of Pennsylvania.

Here is a condensed version of our 4 day journey. We’ll try to share the competition with you as well.

CHEERS!
