TRCP“We’re relieved to see a clean continuing resolution poised to pass in time to temporarily avoid a government shutdown, which could have had an impact on sportsmen’s access at one of the best times of year for hunting and fishing,” says Whit Fosburgh, president and CEO of the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership. “But our organization and others will keep urging lawmakers to hammer out a long-term bipartisan budget deal that doesn’t give short shrift to conservation and ensures some level of certainty before the wee hours ofDecember 11.”
