Mentored Hunting Adventures and More on Armed Lutheran Radio

Listen up! Today, we’re sharing Lloyd Bailey’s first Armed Lutheran Radio (ALR) variety show of 2024. ALR cast members Mia Anstine and Pastor John Bennett share their motivations and ponderings.

Mia Anstine shares that she’s been on the road at the Colorado Cattleman’s Conference, the SHOT Show, and the Safari Club International Convention. Mia also recounts recent experiences participating as a mentor in hunting trips as part of the Safari Club International Foundation and New Mexico Department of Game and Fish’s R3 program. She highlights the success of a women’s duck hunt and a co-ed quail hunt, emphasizing the valuable knowledge gained through such experiences. Mia encourages experienced hunters to get involved as mentors and new hunters to seek mentorship.

Pastor John Bennett delved into ministerial thoughts on the season of Lent, reflecting on the temptation of our Lord in the wilderness and the profound comfort found in the Lutheran belief in being constant sinners and the redeeming power of the gospel.

Both contributors emphasized the value of learning and growing in their respective fields and the importance of seeking solace and redemption in the face of life’s trials.

Armed Lutheran Radio is a weekly podcast about guns, hunting, competitive shooting, the natural right of self-defense, and what God’s Word says about the issues surrounding gun rights and gun ownership.
