YES! The current issue of Field & Stream is in the mail. If you want to know why this news is important, pick up a copy. Also, keep reading!

I aspire to motivate others to embrace the outdoors, shooting sports, hunting, and other avenues of life. I do this through several outlets, and finally, people are taking notice. I’m featured in a cover story this month, along with ten other women who are making a difference in the outdoor industry.

Get outside. Explore, learn, hunt, fish, shoot, connect with nature.

While I was contacted numerous times through the interview process, the story highlighted in the magazine is one of making a difference. It’s one of coming full circle in raising our children, and I hope it will inspire others to do the same within their families.

I have the opportunity to hunt and also mentor others via our outfitting business. I probably get out a bit more often than most, but you can get out there too. Where there’s a will, there’s a way. You only have to decide what you’re going to share with your family, then determine how you can do it.

In addition to guiding, I am a writer, commentator, vlogger, and presenter. I share hunting tips, gear reviews, firearms safety, and interviews. I do it all to inspire and educate others. If you’d like to know more about my contributions, hover over or click on, the “Publications” tab above. You’ll see links to several outlets there.

While I’m sharing, I need to let you know; I am currently serving a second term on the Colorado Sportsman’s Roundtable committee. Through this, I hope to be a voice for sportsmen everywhere. I speak out on issues that are important to hunters, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts. Maybe you can look into participating in similar outlets in your neck of the woods.

I also sit on the board of directors for our local Safari Club International chapter. We strive to make a difference in our area by promoting conservation, sharing knowledge, and providing funding. The chapter operates, “Always with the goal of helping to conserve the animals that we love to hunt today, for those who will come to love the sport tomorrow.” We support this goal by hosting fundraising events, setting up booths where we provide education, and providing grants to students, wildlife managers, public facilities and more.

The list of causes I support goes on and on, but you’ll see me supporting the U.S. Constitution, the Second Amendment, hunting rights, animal rights, conservation aspects, and history, to say the least.

I’m a lifetime member of the NRA. I’m a member of the Pope & Young Club, Colorado Bowhunter’s Association, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, National Wild Turkey Federation, and more.

This is a lot of work, and I’m not the only one doing it. There are many women who are making a difference. I’m honored to be highlighted on the cover of this outstanding publication, but also proud to be a representative for us all.

Get out and see where you can make a difference. Do the work. Oh, and go pick up a copy of this issue of Field & Stream magazine.
