Humanity and Social Media – Thoughts & Prayers

This is my opinion and my prayers. This post is not intended to anger or point fingers instead; I hope it promotes thoughts, personal insight, and unity among all.

I’m sitting here, as I do every morning, reflecting on all God has given me and feeling blessed to have this life. Today, my thoughts go toward the lack of love, friendship, and comradery flying through the air. As I am receiving messages of hate, I think how sad it is that so many miserable people are out there. They are willing to point a finger through cyberspace at someone like me, whom they do not even know. They are so quick and scared that they attempt to find someone to blame. If they knew me and followed me, I would stand for education and responsibility. I have urged people to be responsible, so we may attempt to retain our rights as Americans. It saddens me that someone would be so lost and hateful that they would point a finger. It also saddens me to see the hateful comments being flung in retaliation.

Today I pray in the name of the Lord.

Dear God,
I pray that our nation remembers You and Your creation.
I pray that You shine Your grace upon us.
I pray that You remind us that we are all one.
I pray that Your creation realizes the deeper connection and loves themselves, thus loving others.
I pray that You allow us all to become one in life and spirit.

A prayer from my church: “Lord Jesus Christ, we implore You to hear our prayers and to lighten the darkness of our hearts by Your gracious visitation, for You live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.”

If you are pushing hatred upon another, you are pushing hatred upon yourself because we are all one.

CrucifixI believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was burried. He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurection of the body, and the live everlasting.
Amen

  1. I think you just help me decide which outfitter I want to hunt with, One who also has a ministry and loves the LORD.
